چکیده

Light field cameras record light intensity and angle of light incidence. This extra data presents a bevy of new possibilities for robotics; however, the usefulness of light field cameras may be hampered by motion blur when used on moving platforms. Traditional deconvolution de-blurring methods use a single point spread function and perform poorly in the presence of parallax. We derive a 3D point spread function for linear camera motion blur and demonstrate that this can be applied to light field images from a commercial Lytro camera. An experiment testing this approach using a moving camera is described for static scenes with objects distributed throughout the focal range. On average our method gives a doubling of the Q-factor sharpness without excessive artefacts.

A Comprehensive Study on Significance of Image De-Noising and De-Blurring Applications in Computed Tomography

De-noising and De-blurring is the technique that uses procedures to subsidize and remove the strange and useless content in the images De-noising and de-blurring is very beneficial for detecting the diseases like cancers, tumors in human body. But noise and Blur are the major factors that degrade the quality of images and makes difficult to diagnose. Reconstructing the images is the way to over...

Dual Space Control of a Deployable Cable Driven Robot: Wave Based Approach

Known for their lower costs and numerous applications, cable robots are an attractive research field in robotic community. However, considering the fact that they require an accurate installation procedure and calibration routine, they have not yet found their true place in real-world applications. This paper aims to propose a new controller strategy that requires no meticulous calibration and ...

We present a novel multi-view, projective texture mapping technique. While previous multi-view texturing approaches lead to blurring and ghosting artefacts if 3D geometry and/or camera calibration are imprecise, we propose a texturing algorithm that warps (“floats”) projected textures during run-time to preserve crisp, detailed texture appearance. Our GPU implementation achieves interactive to ...
